While I was still enlisted in the 82nd Airborne Division on Fort Bragg, NC, my wife and I accidently stumbled onto what would soon become our favorite weekend hobby
weekend hobby and what ultimately gave birth to my passion for photography. We were out for a drive one Saturday afternoon when we noticed an old abandoned farmhouse on the side of the road. Curious, and with nothing better to do we decided to go in and explore the old home. That was all it took, we were addicted! Weekend after weekend we spent countless hours driving the side roads of North Carolina in search of the next house to investigate. share camera was just not doing the scenery justice. Not knowing anything about photography or DSLRs we purchased a Nikon D90. I fell in love, and soon was investing many late nights reading and learning all I could about photography and the camera. Now a few years later, although I photograph many different subjects, old abandoned homes remain my favorite.
