Redsirens is a Mexican artist Influenced by Frida Kahlo, Tamara De Lempicka, Edgar Degas, and Salvador Dali to name a few. She is primarily a self taught with some course work. Her work consists of experimenting with different mediums, such as: water color, canvas painting, chalk, oil, sculpting, and acrylic painting, jewelry and craft work. Her artwork that stems from her strong cultural roots. She believes in sharing her Mexican traditions with the public eye so that the beauty of culture can be admired and explored. She started creating at the age of nine and has spent many years learning different Technics on her own merits. Her work has primarily been commissioned for private collections. ...
My art has many faces, it has changed and matured as I have through out the course of time. I began my creative process at the age of nine. My love for the arts was like an immediate love affair, once I placed the pencil down on the paper I couldn't put it down. At the age of nine years old I new that I wanted to make art part of my existence, that the color in my veins was neither red nor blue but a vast
color in my veins was neither red nor blue but a vast variety of colors. I enjoy exploring a wide range of mediums. Some of my favorites include abstract, surrealism and still life to name a few. In truth I find my inspirations and create my work on many different levels. I love blending in my Aztec heritage into the arts, given it a sort of 3 dimensional character that adds to the beauty of my work submerging reality with fantasy.
