Where people share and discover artistic talent and more
For Mychael Shane, it has always been about the art. As a child growing up in southern Ohio, Mychael spent countless hours creating artistic images. Wherever he went, he always kept a bag of crayons
of crayons and paper in hand. Even as a child, he was always eager to make kindergarten masterpieces of Godzilla and Fat Albert for other classmates. After being recognized and encouraged by teachers and relatives, the artistic journey began. Throughout the rest of school Mychael immersed himself in art and was further inspired after being introduced to the works of Ernie Barnes and Norman Rockwell. By the time Mychael had graduated high school, he had already accomplished having one man art shows, won local window painting competitions and was able to excel in higher level art classes while still in high school.
After attending The Columbus College of Art & Design and studying illustration, Mychael moved on to graduate from The School of Advertising Art College with a degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. Since then Mychael has lent his creative eye and imagination to projects for many Fortune 500 companies such as Chevrolet, DaimlerChrysler, Proctor & Gamble, ...
Dominos Pizza, Dark & Lovely Beauty Products, Shell Oil and NBC. Throughout his career, Mychael has also had the pleasure of working with many other creative and talented individuals. They include musicians Alicia Keys, Barry White, Bootsy Collins, Omarion, Slum Village, T.I, Young Jeezy, Tamia, actress Kellita Smith, director Paul Hunter, Oscar winning cinematographer Dean Semler and NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt, JR and Tony Stewart. Mychael’s work has been seen by millions and he is recognized as truly gifted among those who have worked with him and by his peers. Now, once again, life has come full circle and for Mychael that means, it’s all about the art. It means returning to the artistic simplicity of rolling his sleeves up and creating beautiful images, just like in his youthful days of lugging around a bag of crayons.
With strong love, encouragement and support of his wife, who is determined to help bring back that same joy he received as a child by simply sharing his passion and talent with others, Mychael is on his way to helping others enjoy the beauty and simplicity of life around them. And he will do this ... One scratch at a time.
