His most current credits include CONFIDENCE, THE ITALIAN JOB, SAW II, DEAD MAN DOWN, BLOWTORCH, 36 SAINTS and TIO PAPI. He has appeared on television in the title role of Fox’s hip show JONNY ZERO. He also starred as Joe Garcia in CBS’s drama SMITH starring Ray Liotta and Virginia Madsen. Franky has also guest starred in CSI MIAMI opposite David Caruso and BLUE BLOODS opposite Donnie Walhberg. Franky has also appeared in Off Broadway productions, DOES A TIGER WEAR A NECKTIE and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST. He starred opposite Cuba Gooding Jr as Hammer in THE DEVIL’S TOMB. Franky is the owner and founder of G-Productions. His last theatrical production INSIDERS, written and directed by Frances Lozada, received great reviews. He continues to learn the art of filmmaking and has plans to write, direct and produce in the near future. His first feature THE STREETS ARE WATCHING has recently been optioned.

MEDICINE have been mixed within the soul of THE MUSICIAN PHYSICIAN. The Saxman has released four Smooth Jazz CDs to date: 1.) FIRST IMPRESSION (1998), 2.) “SUITE” LOVE (2003), 3.) SAVOIR FAIRE (2005) and 4.) IN THE MOMENT (2011). All three of the songs from his up-coming CD are high on the charts (OURSTAGE.COM) DAT AIN’T BERT ! and HERE AGAIN have already earned Top 10 Awards and NEON NIGHTS has won a Top 40 award. Piggott said “This is a dream come true” as he considers himself “GOD” taught as opposed to “self” taught. Fourteen years ago, when Bert’s father began to make his TRANSITION, Bert told his father that he was so sad that he didn’t feel like playing anymore. His father looked him in the eye and said: “Son, I want you to continue to play so that “I” can hear you”. This inspiration will last a life time.

Dedio is a veteran of more than fifty national commercials, films, stage and television work. As a youngster, Dedio cut his teeth in acting by appearing in After School Specials and on the NBC Soap Opera “Another World”. In 1989, Dedio headed to California to portray the title role in the NBC Series “The Karate Kid”. That same year he landed the voice of “Wheeler” on Ted Turner’s popular ecology- animated based series “Captain Planet and the Planeteers”. The very popular and critically acclaimed show was nominated three times for an Emmy award in its eight season run and can now be seen in syndication in over eighty countries. ...
Along with working with a stellar cast of celebrities, ranging from Whoopi Goldberg and Tom Cruise to Elizabeth Taylor, Dedio’s popularity landed him in numerous teen magazines, chatting on various talk shows, and had him traveling the world speaking to children about how they can make a difference. On television, besides having held a recurring role on NBC’s daytime serial “Sunset Beach”, Dedio has guest starred on the popular dramas “Law and Order” and “Chicago Hope” to name a few. Having appeared in over fifteen films including, “LA Rules”, “Somewhere in the City”, “Where the Day Takes You”, “The Last Great Ride”, “Queenie in Love”, “A Good Night to Die”, “Strays” and “Trick”, it was during the filming of Sundance nominated Best Picture “Strays” starring opposite Vin Diesel, that Dedio got a real taste for producing and making independent films. Then Dedio produced the Award winning documentary “The Providence Effect” which was released in theatres in September of 2009. The film is
about a school (Providence St. Mel) on the west side of Chicago and it’s remarkable rate of inspiring the less fortunate into becoming successful young men and women through discipline, hope and inspiration. It received numerous awards and screened at the Library of Congress in Washington DC in front of the United States Senate and Congress. Dedio recently produced and starred in Academy Award nominated director Susan Seidelman’s “Musical Chairs”. The film garnered producer Dedio and the film a GLADD nomination for Best Feature- limited release. That same year Dedio also produced, wrote and starred in the title role of the Award winning family comedy “Tio Papi”. The film stars Award winners/nominees Kelly McGillis and Frankie Faison. “Tio Papi” is set for a Fall 2013 release. Dedio recently produced and starred in the teen thriller film “36 Saints” . The film is directed by Award winner Eddy Duran and is also set for a Fall 2013 release. On stage Dedio originated the role of Angel in the critically acclaimed Off Broadway Production “Skin” at the prestigious SoHo Rep as well as work-shopping Tony Award winner Joe Pintauro’s controversial play “The Dead Boy” (about the 80’s Covenant House scandal), portraying the Title role.
“TIO PAPI”, is a family movie that is rated PG. It is about a bachelor (Joey Dedio) who inherits his sister's six children after she dies unexpectedly. It is an inspirational film about love and what matters most…family.
