Where people share and discover artistic talent and more
Darryl Peek is the lead vocalist for the African American Philharmonic Orchestra. His claim to fame started with an appearance on Good Morning America during the first Gulf War. He was labled as the Desert Rapper, but never thought of himself as one. Music is his life and he considers the late Luther Vandross one of his main mentors.
Darryl is known for his velvet voice which covers over four octaves. He is not just a vocalist, he is also a producer, composer and songwriter. Singing in church as a child, it's no surprise that he's Minister of Music at Christ Lutheran Church. You can also catch ...
him in front or behind a camera for Fulton County Government Television. He produced the Tom Joyner Morning Show and "murdered the hits" for J. Anthony Brown along with many other credits. In January 2013, he re-released his much anticipted instrumental jazz CD, "At Any Give Time".
Darryl’s philosphy in life is simple -
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
