Where people share and discover artistic talent and more

Jolene Butts Freeman is a native Atlantan. Her love for photography began while attending Clark Atlanta Univeristy. While working on her schedule second semester of her Sophomore year she discovered she was required to have a few electeives on her schedule. Jolene decided to register for a Photography Class believing it would be a good subject to learn that could strengthen her skill set for her Major - Journalism and Communications. Jolene took her first photography course from one of Atlanta’s premier and well known Documentary Photographers Mr. Jim Alexander.

Who knew this course would be the start of one of Jolene’s passions in life. It was the start of something extremely special. Jolene’s excitement and passion for the art of photography and the stories told by the images captured continued to grow througout her matriculation through Clark and on to Northwestern Univeristy where she obtained her Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Jolene contibued to work on her craft and while doing so she developed “An Eye” for the art even through shooting video in graduate school and even when working in the broadcast television industry where she shot, edited and produced her own television stories. Jolene worked at several stations in the South East where she worked as a Television Reporter and Fill-in Anchor. Jolene’s ...

... passion for communications, story telling and photography has placed her among other award winning journalists. She is an Emmy Award Winning Journalist and has won awards from the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists as well as the International Association of Business Communicators.

Her mentor Julius Grimes of Kreativ Touch Photography, credits her with having an amazing spirit of excellence and an incredible eye for capturing images. He says she has an uncanning ability to pay attention to detail while making the client feel encouraged and at ease.

Jolene believes a photograph is more than the subject or object seen. It tells a story without a single solitary caption. That perspective is what encouraged her to start Infinite Exposure Photography. Jolene’s work has appeared on billboards throughout Atlanta for organizations such as: Atlanta Fire Rescue, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and local government agencies. Her images have been published in the Atlanta Tribune and other publications in the City of Atlanta as well.

Jolene is the wife of Jerry E. Freeman Jr and proud mother of Jazmine and Jerry “Tripp” Freeman.
